Houston Polo Club’s 8 goal Spring Series continued on May 31 with the first of two feature Sunday matches in the USPA Regional President’s Cup. Jeff Hildebrand of Tonkawa Farms contributed multiple goals to his team’s 12-5 victory over Magnolia Farms’ Tom Gose (1), John Alexander (2), Mark Prinsloo (3), and Steve Krueger (2), who returned to the field after last week’s injury. Tonkawa’s Hildebrand, Paul Hobby (1), Jamie Mirikitani (4), and Jimmy Seward (3) scored consistently on field goals and penalties alike, placing Tonkawa one step closer to next Sunday’s finals in the Regional President’s Cup. Janet Hobby presented the day’s teams with engraved sterling gifts and flowers from Lily Paxton Events.
